When my mom Asna, opened her small cheese shop Curds & Whey, 45 years ago, there were not many female entrepreneurs. It was a risk, but she wanted her children to see that with hard work we could accomplish whatever we wanted.

In no time, we moved into larger spaces, offered a larger menu, but did not stray from the values that we held since our inception. Our salads, dressings, meats, prepared foods and some baked goods are all made in house with the freshest ingredients. Come eat in our cafe or take out. Our Executive Chef comes to us from the Culinary Institute of America.
